Roger Jewkes is President of the Western Operations for Fidelity National Title Group, Inc, the largest title insurance company in the United States.
Jewkes joined the title insurance industry in 1977 as a Title Searcher and Examiner with Western Title Insurance Company in Walnut Creek, California.
From 1979 - 1983 Roger ventured out as an entrepreneur, owning and operating a wholesale lithograph and picture frame manufacturing business in Woodinville, Washington before returning to California where he operated a retail store in Sacramento.
Roger re-entered the title industry in 1984, when he began working for Fidelity National Title Company in Walnut Creek, California. Roger served in many positions, including Title Examiner, Chief Title Officer and Title Operations Manager before being promoted to County Manager. He has since managed Fidelity operations in Napa, Sonoma and Contra Costa Counties.
In May 2001, Roger relocated to Santa Barbara, California to accept a position with Fidelity National Financial's Corporate Office as Executive Vice President and Regional Manager, in which he was responsible for 14 direct title operations in California and Colorado.
In February 2003, Roger's responsibilities were expanded as he was appointed to the position of Executive Vice President and Division One Manager, with responsibilities for most Chicago Title and Fidelity National Title operations in Northern California and Colorado. In 2004, a Divisional realignment shifted Roger's responsibilities to include Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Colorado. Roger was appointed to his current position in 2005.
In his spare time, Roger enjoys golf, skiing and wine collecting.
Roger, his wife, Laurie, and their two daughters reside in Santa Barbara, California.
